Klamath Media

The Klamath Restoration Council has an active media-working group. We produce the Klamath River E-news along with other media. We are also one of the main editors of “The Black Oak, Environmental Justice where California meets Oregon”, and we are active volunteers with the Klamath Salmon Media Collaborative. We write for, and publish photos through many independent internet and print media outlets. Currently KRC is supporting bringing the independent, Native American run, KIDE radio station from Hoopa to Orleans and starting our own radio show on this station.

Klamath Salmon Media Collaborative & KRC in action

Making media empowers communities
We believe that in order to give a voice to the marginalized communities of the Klamath River, we need to make and distribute our own media, along with trying to influence the mainstream media outlets. We help with production and distribution of print, video, radio and internet media locally and we support Klamath related events throughout Oregon and California. If you are interested in joining our media group or helping to distribute or show any or our involved groups’ videos, radio shows, or print media contact:
Klamath@riseup.net or call Regina at (541) 951-0126.
